Chinese-readingtree project uses HSK level guide as ‘a level big picture’, but the project goes beyond the Chinese language proficiency exam level to develop your skills in listening, speaking, and applying the language. Starting from the HSK2 level onwards, we define four sub-stages in each level. They are the development Alpha stage, the development Beta stage, the secure stage, and the advanced business application stage. In every level sub-stage, learning goals and estimated study time are given to learners know what to expect for their investment input and the resulting output.
